Frightmare Farms is known for its ultra-realistic theatrical sets and professionally trained actors. The artists behind the 48-acre property are experts at blurring the lines between horror and reality. The Attraction’s level of detailed set design and effects combined with their enthusiastic trained actors and special makeup effects can only be compared to a Hollywood movie. The haunted house is constantly changing and growing from year to year so guests never know what to expect around the next terrifying corner.
Beginning many decades ago, the owner's passion for terrifying others is evident when you navigate thru each of the four attractions; from exploring an old, estate mansion, wandering through a condemned mine trail, getting lost in the twisted labyrinth, or taking a journey through a hidden lost village on the haunted hayride is definitely not recommended for the faint of heart (nor is it recommended for anyone who has a weak bladder)!
Beginning the year prior is when new themes are developed and backstories are written. As inventful characters unfold, costumes are sewn and new masks are molded, all to fit the new theme for the upcoming year. Sets are removed and pathways modified, to give visitors a different experience each season. The pre-season build team is made up of highly creative and passionate individuals who share the common goal of creating a fun, safe, and frightening experience.
Actors are often professionally and community theater-trained performers and recruited specifically for key roles to bring the immersive experience to life for our guests. The additional scare actors are passionate people from our community who loves Halloween and all things that go "bump in the night'. Our staff is trained as customer service reps with a Disney approach training. All our Corpse Crew works together to bring the terrifying show to life each night.
